GET TO KNOW ME

I am a woman based in Malmö, Sweden with a passion for the female bodys wisdom and power - in particular when it comes to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. I'm a midwife currently working in the postpartum ward since late 2020. A doula since 2019, pre- and postnatal yoga teacher and a Reiki Healer. But my greatest achievement is being a mother of 3 beautiful young souls, my son and my two daughters.

At an early age I discovered my interest for womens health through my first clinical practice via my school, and it was at the womens clinic in Malmö, Sweden. I was immediately fascinated by the female body and its abilities and decided then and there that I wanted to become a midwife. I started my nurse studies and during that time worked extra at the labor & delivery ward (förlossningen), which was a dream come true - to be able to experience  one of the most extraordinary events in life. To see a new life draw breath and support mothers and partners - it was magical. It IS magical.

During the years I have expanded my education and knowledge with studies of Yoga in 2016. And a few years later going deeper with a pre- and postnatal yoga teacher training at Infinite Yoga, and a wonderful Aktiv Baby doula-training led by Xana de Silva. During these years I also had my first child in 2017, a boy who really re-awakened my passion for pregnancy, birth and supporting mothers (and partners) during this sacred time. I've also deepened my studies with knowledge of breastfeeding, holistic practices during pregnancy and postpartum and so much more. Late 2020 I started working at BB in Malmö, caring for women and babies those first days right after birth.

 

In the last five years I've given birth to two beautiful daughters and had two very powerful and empowering birth experiences, in water. I've supported families through pregnancy, the whole birth process and those special early days of postpartum. And let me tell you, it's a blessing being able to work with what you love! ​​
